Best Baby Tech Items:
Kinsa Smart Thermometer
Hatch Noise Machine
Hatch has multiple products available that also use an app! I personally received the Hatch Rest+. Everyone swears by Hatch products, and I am super excited to put it to use! I’ve already set it up and played with it a little
bit. I love that you can change the settings and then set different combinations of light colors and audio as favorites. Not only that but you can create an automated schedule. This way, you can set your hatch to
turn on and off at certain times during the day. The Rest+ also has a built-in audio monitor so you can listen to baby and even talk through a speaker to your baby. You can control the hatch device from your phone or
manually by tapping the top of the device.
Nanit Baby Monitor
I was able to snag my Nanit baby monitor on Amazon for Prime Day 2022 for some nice savings! The Nanit monitor has an app you can download and is also compatible with Amazon Alexa devices. One of the things that is most appealing about Nanit to me vs other products is that Nanit uses a breathing band rather than a sensor that has to touch the baby’s skin. The band just wraps around the baby’s torso. They also offer sleep sacks and onsies that have the same breathing band! You can access the camera and two-way speaker from your app and it also has growth tracking!
Itomoro Car Monitor
I got this car monitor off of Amazon. It has a little camera that attaches to the seat headrest and a cord that plugs into an auxiliary power outlet. It also has a cord that attaches to the viewing screen which you can rest on your dash. This is how you view the baby in the back seat rather than craning your neck to look in a mirror! I got my sister one for her car and she loves it. It wasn’t long after that my mom ordered one for her car as well! The picture is so clear for such an affordable monitor. Its just so much more convenient!
Talli Baby Care Tracker
The Talli Baby Care Tracker is a little device that you can either mount to the wall or use just on a surface with the included feet so that it doesn’t slide. As you complete tasks with your baby you can simply push the coordinating buttons to track the task to the app. This way, if you have multiple care takers for baby you have an easy way to see how many times the baby was fed or how long they slept without having to ask. It would be super helpful to be able to remember what time you gave your baby medicine. I think it will also come in handy when the doctor asks how many times a day the baby eats, has a dirty or wet diaper, how long the baby is sleeping and so on.
The buttons are even customizable, so if you have special or specific needs or something you track more, you can customize your buttons! This would also help to make the device last a little longer as you can customize the buttons to coordinate with activities you would more likely do as baby gets older! I also love that they have a buy back program for when you no longer use the device.
Aqua Scale Bathtub
I was super excited when I saw this bathtub at Buy Buy Baby. This tub actually takes the temperature of the water, so you know for sure you are in a safe and comfortable temperature range for your baby. It also takes your baby’s weight! I’ve always feared that I would have the water too hot for my baby, so this ensures you avoid that situation! I also think its nice to be able to see baby’s weight without having to wait until the next doctor’s
appointment.
These are my favorite baby tech items and we definitely think you need to add these to your registry. While you’re here, check out our post for Unnecessary Baby Items to Leave Off Your Registry. Happy registry making!
